The Asian 100 was organized in 2016 when local leaders led by Renee Dutia, as a founder, Linda Kao, and Kathy Dress decided to undertake this initiative of Asian women leaders to bring their global connections together. Our organization draws upon the collective experience, knowledge and resources of our invited members – Asian Americans who have achieved prominence in a variety of fields and work in partnership & collaboration towards our mission.
We are a network of North Texas leaders from a variety of Asian backgrounds engaged in promoting economic development and inclusivity for Asian American and Pacific Islanders in our business environment, collaborating with other organizations strategically to grow civic involvement in leadership roles, and providing education and mentorship resulting in heightened engagement in public and private sectors.
The Asian 100 is a Dallas-Fort Worth based organization of 100 women leaders representing multiple Asian ethnicities, including representation from many of our distinct communities including India, China, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Japan, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and more. We also include a maximum of 10% of our membership with leaders from the Hispanic, African American and Caucasian community as well. Industries represented vary from healthcare to technology, retail to travel, insurance to consulting, non-profit, government and more. This not-for-profit, non-partisan membership organization brings an Asian American perspective to issues concerning Asian Americans.
